My sexual fitness plan—which you can add to your weekly exercise regimen—contains three components…
1. Shared laughter. Twenty seconds of laughter produces the
same cardiovascular benefits as three minutes of aerobic ex-
ercise, studies indicate.
Studies also indicate that a good laugh strengthens the immune system by lowering Cortisol levels and raising endorphin levels. And—couples who laugh together become closer and more in tune with one another.
Shared crying. Watching a good tearjerker enhances intimacy—and sometimes leads to sexual arousal. Tears, which contain stress hormones and other chemicals, may be nature’s way of washing toxins out of the body.
Couple “erotorobics.” The following suggested sexual exercises may seem strange, but they increase your ability to respond to intimate physical contact…
Simulated sex. Go through the motions of intercourse— with your clothes on.
Genital massage. This type of massage stimulates blood flow in that area.
Dancing to erotic music. Use the muscles you would if you were having intercourse.
Flirting. Arch your back, sway your hips and stick out your chest. And practice sexual gazing and sexual smiling. Both can make you feel more sensuous.

More research conducted at Duke University, the University of Miami, Stanford University and other institutions shows that people who pray, read religious writings and otherwise take part in a spiritual community have better immune function, lower blood pressure and fewer heart attacks than people who don’t participate.
How does spirituality confer this benefit?
Both reliance on a Higher Being and the social support you get from belonging to a caring community of fellow believers are solid buffers against the wear and tear of life.
We know that faith can provide strong support in times of trouble and that religiously involved people cope better with stress. They’re less depressed, less anxious, more optimistic.
Praying triggers the relaxation response—a sense of peace, comfort, hopefulness and deep relaxation—which actually reverses the effects of stress.

dream: You are back in high school and have to take a final exam—for a class that you somehow forgot to attend all year. Or you’re about to appear in a school play and don’t know your lines.
meaning: This dream often occurs when people have been pushed out of their comfort zone, such as by an unusual or important assignment at work. Generally, the fears expressed are unfounded because those who have this dream tend to be overachievers and are unlikely to ever be unprepared for anything.
what you can do: Realize that you may be more stressed than the situation warrants. Once you start working on the task, the dreams should stop.
dream: All your high school classmates are opening their lockers, but you can’t seem to open yours no matter how hard you try.
alternate version: You find a forgotten room in your house. All sorts of great things are inside, covered in cobwebs.
meaning: You feel that you have put aside some important part of yourself. Perhaps you were once a skilled artist or an aspiring teacher but gave it up for a more lucrative profession. People tend to have these dreams at a point in their lives when it’s feasible to revive the long-dormant interest, such as shortly after retirement or when the last child has left the house.
what you can do: Explore your interests—otherwise, you will be haunted by this dream. Take a look at what you meant to do 20 years ago, and see if there is any way you can have fun with it today.

Meditation teaches us to observe—rather than worry about or act upon—the thoughts that constantly flit through our minds.
This lets us withdraw from the never-ending bombardment of desires, fears, regrets, etc… .and find peace by turning our attention solely to the present moment. Start by lying face up on your pad, with arms at sides, palms up. Remain as still as possible.
For the next two minutes or so, focus on each part of your body in turn. Envision each part separately…and relax it.
Start with your forehead, then your eyes, face, neck and shoulders. Move down your body, relaxing each in turn—arms and hands…chest and abdomen…hips, legs and feet…then back up the spine to the neck and head.
Gently bring your attention to your forehead. Silently repeat “om” several times.

There’s no scientific evidence, but anecdotal accounts do support the use of an apple-cider vinegar solution to help relieve arthritis pain. Drink a glass of water with two teaspoons of apple-cider vinegar and two teaspoons of honey three times a day.
To kill odor-causing bacteria, soak feet in a solution of one part vinegar (any type) and four parts hot water nightly for 15 minutes for one week. The feet should be immersed up to the ankles. Rinse with cold water at the end of the soak. Repeat this routine as it is needed.
Men with jock itch (a red, itching, burning rash in the groin area) will find relief by applying a mild vinegar solution one or two times daily. Make up a solution of two tablespoons of white vinegar to 12 ounces warm water…pour it over the whole groin area at the end of a shower. Do not rinse off…simply blot dry. Five days of this treatment should be adequate. For other fungal infections, such as athlete’s foot or mild nail fungus, soak the affected body part in the same type of solution used for jock itch for five minutes daily until the infection is gone.

After recovery, if you replace the former deficient diet by one made up of wholefoods, you will be able to manage without having to take any more concentrated vitamin products. However, if you continue to follow the denatured diet of the majority of people today, one including white flour and refined sugar, you will need to supplement it with vitamin preparations. Only in this way will it be possible to avoid a relapse. For this purpose, wheat germ oil is strongly indicated.
A. Vogel’s wheat germ oil is a 100 per cent Swiss product and has the advantage of being cold-pressed in modern oil presses. That is why its content of the two main components – vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids – is so high. According to absolutely reliable and objective analysis, it meets with the highest demands of both doctors and consumers.

However, if your body responds well to cold water applications, the Kuhne method will give you the desired results. These cold water friction or massage treatments relieve headaches, congestions in the head, leaden fatigue, stomach upsets, loss of appetite and many other complaints. Frigidity as well as an exceptionally strong sexual drive can be treated successfully, so that in time it is possible to experience normal function of the sex organs. After a few weeks, cases of depression and melancholy can be improved and they may even be cured if the treatment is continued over an extended period.
Following the instructions given, you can practise these cold water massages at home and as long as the necessary care is taken, you will do no harm whatsoever. On the contrary, you will have reason to be astonished at the excellent results.
Revulsion by Means of Stimulation (Irritation) Therapies It is the Chinese who seem to have a great deal of experience in the field of stimulation (irritation) therapy. On my visits to the Far East I was able to witness their mastery of this kind of therapy. I even watched them treat and cure gangrene by means of it. There was an old monk in a Buddhist monastery who gave this kind of treatment. One European patient told me in confidence about the excellent result in his own case.

In the past, the consequences of vitamin deficiencies through the winter months and into the spring used to be much more drastic than they are today. The problem was little understood and therefore left without any real solution. People in remote areas often suffered greatly during these months because of an acute lack of food rich in vitamins. Many old people would die in the winter or spring because their strength was at an all-time low for this very reason.
Even today at this time of the year there is a general susceptibility to colds, bronchial catarrh and infectious conditions of the mucous membranes; these are always a result of a deficiency of vitamin A and other substances. By taking food rich in vitamin A you can, as a rule, avoid inflammation of the eyes, eyelids and cornea, and the nuisance known as ‘night-blindness’. A lack of vitamin A in the body is responsible for the stubborn failure of wounds to heal properly.
It is good to know that the varieties of pepper, as well as tomatoes, contain plenty of vitamin A; unfortunately, however, in winter they are not always widely available or are relatively expensive. It is therefore more than welcome that carrots are usually on the market – and somewhat cheaper. Their vitamin A content is, of course, well known. So make it a point to eat fresh carrot salad every day, or to drink fresh carrot juice. Commercially prepared carrot juice with lactic acid is also recommended, and is appreciated by those who have little time to prepare the juice themselves. Health food stores stock concentrated carrot juice, such as Bioca-rottin. This is a good supplement to overcome vitamin deficiency. A word of caution is needed, however, for people who suffer from high blood pressure; try to eat more salads rather than depending on juices alone, since the regular intake of carrot juice can raise the blood pressure.

In Paracelsus’ time, merchants brought home a sort of wood that was said to contain a medicinal resin. This wood was extraordinary because it sank in water, obviously being heavier than water, and this made it different from any other wood known at the time. It was found in the West Indies and South America and, when heated, a resin flowed from it that became a remedy for consumption.
Today, Guaiacum lx is one of the best medicines for pharyngitis. Five drops on a little sugar, taken every one or two hours, will almost certainly stop the symptoms in a short time. In fact, after two or three doses the patient will notice that the soreness has already begun to ease. Guaiacum acts as a specific in such cases, and bad-smelling sputum or perspiration is usually a sure indication for its use, at a medium potency, three times a day. Stabbing, tearing pains in the joints, with gouty deposits in them, have also been relieved by means of this remedy. Guaiacum is therefore an important ingredient in several ointments and embrocations. Used together with Lachesis, Guaiacum will bring quick relief for those who suffer from tonsillitis.

It is interesting to note that wherever there are dangers to our health nature provides a local means of resistance or remedy. Papaya thrives in hot and humid tropical regions. I came across some marvellous specimens in Lagunas, where the trees grew to about 3-4 m (about 10-13 feet), the trunk to a diameter of about 20—25 cm (8-10 inches), bearing 20—25 fruits, which hang on the trunk between the axils of the large leaves. The ripe yellow fruits hang more towards the bottom of the tree; further up they are still green and unripe. They look like melons, are hollow inside and full of small, black, moist, round seeds. The active substance of papaya is to be found mainly in the unripe fruits and in the skin of the ripe ones, but this skin is usually peeled off and thrown away. The fruit pulp is yellow or pinkish, with an unusual taste, which it may take a while to become accustomed to.
As I suggested above, the fruit aids the digestion, so make it a habit to eat a slice after meals if you are visiting the tropics. The strong taste is less noticeable when papaya is mixed in a fruit salad together with pineapple, bananas and mangoes. It also helps to add a little lemon juice. Incidentally, papaya and pineapple mixed together in a blender make a tasty and refreshing drink.
